It’s no secret that Greeley has made several changes to its downtown scene and along with that has came many new restaurants, perfect for a night out…Valentine’s Day is just right around the corner. Hint, hint. Whether you’re looking for a laid back vibe or a place where you can break out that little black dress and heels, here are our favorite date places in Greeley.
GREELEY CHOP HOUSE (Angell’s pick)
If you haven’t been, we definitely recommend making a trip to 8th Avenue! Great ambiance, martinis, and a perfectly cooked steak.
PELLEGRINI ITALIAN RESTAURANT (TJ’s pick)
Those of you who remember Potato Brumbaugh’s know exactly where this little gem is hiding out. Featuring traditional Italian cuisine inspired by the Southern Adriatic coast, Pellegrini serves authentic meals in the trattoria style – the staff is wonderful and during our visit, the owner stopped by and chatted – always a pleasant touch!
BRIX TAPHOUSE (Carrie’s pick)
At last, a quaint little brewery with over 60 beers on tap, rustic/industrial (and adorable) atmosphere. No need to venture all the way to our neighboring friends in FoCo… Be sure to check out their specials, they always have something fun going on!
LUCKY FIN’S (Alisa’s pick)
There is so much to love about this seafood grill on the west side of town! Great portion sizes, fresh fish, and diverse flavors! One of our favorites (besides the all you can eat crab)? Chipotle Salmon.
KRESS CINEMA LOUNGE (Carrie’s pick)
Diverse film programming, a full kitchen and bar…what else could you ask for while watching a movie?
COYOTE’S SOUTHWESTERN GRILL (TJ’s pick)
Besides the fact that they offer $1.99 margaritas on Saturdays…there’s a lot to love about Coyote’s (and their sister restaurant, Palominos). Try the skirt steak or shrimp tacos and a sangria swirl, you won’t be disappointed.
